Webelos Experience

All day Event Webelos Experience is a bi-annual district wide event put on by the North Star Council which draws 1000's of youth and adults to Stearns Camp for a day of Webelos activities. This weekend campout will be the highlight of a Cub Scout's career. There will be a huge game area, many of exhibits and more. They'll also be able to participate in many different activity badge demonstrations and attend a stupendous stage show with fantastic fireworks on Saturday night.
Pack 283 Webelos will be attending as a group. Open to both Webelos-I and Webelos-II (4th and 5th grade). Although Pack-283 Fall Family Camping is the very next weekend at the same location, these are two different events with different sets of activities. Please consider attending both events. Cost is $30.
WHAT TO BRING
The Scout motto is ‘Be Prepared” – this is especially true when it comes to October weather in Minnesota. Don’t forget warm sleeping clothes, jacket, hat and gloves, sturdy rain gear, boots, and an extra pair of shoes. Please leave electronics at home. Adults may want to bring cameras.
DO NOT BRING: Pets, alcohol, firearms, fireworks, electronics & tobacco are prohibited.
WHO CAN COME
Open to Webelos I & II only and their chaperons.
Pack 283 strictly follows the Youth Protection Policy of the Boy Scouts of America. Under that policy, no child may sleep in a tent with any adult who is not his/her parent or guardian. See pack leaders for more details on this policy.
